Civilization V (Civ 5 or Civilization 5) developed by Firaxis, a turn-based strategy, 4X computer game, released for Microsoft Windows in September 2010 and Mac OS X on November 23, 2010. In Civilization V, the player leads a civilization from prehistoric times in the future to create procedural map, achieving one of a number of different conditions through research victory, conquest diplomacy, expansion, economic development, government and military. Many elements from Civilization IV and its expansion packs have been removed or altered, such as religion and spying (though they later re-expansion). Moreover, the maps contain computer-controlled city-states such as non-player characters available for trade, diplomacy and conquest. Civilization’s borders also expanding one tile at a time, favoring more productive tiles, and the streets are now maintenance costs, making them much less common.
